If we really wanted to avoid disasters like the one in the gulf ,We the People of The United States need the ability to effect swift and furious response.

we go to the polls and vote in all new politicains at every level those in power should not be allowed to run for office again {lifetime ban}

thats right throw the baby out with the bathwater!

of course this could only take place when an environmental disaster happens .

and the current administration would need to be investigated by a newly elected panel of judges.

yes the people would elect the investigating judges.

all non-discloser agreements will be null and void for the investigating body.

i can think of no other way for real transparency and full accountability for the events leading up to the disaster .

we have to defend the environment to protect the planets future.
